As a Body-Centered Therapist since 1995, I have developed a passion and skills for helping people heal from trauma and restore goodness to their lives. Trauma is not just a mental problem or a brain disorder; it is something that happens in the body.
I work with individuals suffering from various physical conditions, anxiety, panic, post-traumatic stress, and those desiring to optimize wellness of body, mind and soul. As a body-oriented therapist that works with traumatic stress, I bring an added dimension to the understanding of the interplay between physical illness and emotional health.
Originally trained in Structural Integration, my bodywork practice also addresses non-trauma related muscular skeletal injuries that cause chronic pain, inhibit function and decrease the quality of life.
My practice embodies self-awareness, safety and containment- core elements for achieving body/nervous system balance and restoring wholeness.
